by Cole Phelps

The invitation emails have already been sent out, and the closed beta session for Arena Breakout Infinite will soon go live after the huge buzz it made during recent weeks.

With Escape From Tarkov’s pitiful state, many extraction shooters fans are eagerly waiting for Arena Breakout Infinite, so that maybe they could have a worthy alternative in hand. If you are among the lucky players invited to play the game, here is when you can start joining servers.

Closed Beta Release Date And Time

Arena Breakout Infinite servers will go online on May 7 at 7 PM PT / 10 PM ET in the US, on May 8 at 3 AM BST / 4 AM CET in the UK and Europe, and on May 8 at 12 PM AEST in Australia.

If you had pre-registered for the closed beta, check your email for invitations. In case you have received an email from Arena Breakout Infinite regarding qualification for the closed beta, you can start pre-loading the game’s data from now on. The download size is around 50 GB, but it will be expanded to nearly 100 GB after installation on your disk.

Moreover, your PC’s GPU must be an Nvidia RTX 2060 equivalent or something better than that, otherwise, the launcher might prevent you from playing the game after the installation process. You can check out the minimum system requirements below:

  • CPU: Core i7-9700 or Ryzen 7 3700X
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • GPU: GeForce RTX 2060 or Radeon RX 5600 XT or Arc A580
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 100 GB

If you are invited to the playtest, follow the instructions in the email, and do note that the closed beta version will be available through Arena Breakout’s dedicated game launcher rather than Steam.

Arena Breakout is already available on mobile, but the PC version managed to get a lot of attention after engaging in a series of roasting tweets on X with Battlestate Games.

The gameplay trailer does seem promising as Arena Breakout Infinite offers better visual quality and a gameplay loop similar to that of Escape From Tarkov, or at least that’s what the developers try to imply. We will have more to share about this game and its future once we get to play it soon.
