The Pekka Evolution is now live and everyone can try it for free in this week’s Clash Royale event. Use Pekka’s new overhead ability to overcome the opposing troops and crush the crown towers.
Next to the Pekka Evo Launch event, Clash Royale also hosts a reward tracker for this week based on the number of Pekkas deployed by players. The more Pekka you deploy, the more rewards will be unlocked.

For those unfamiliar with the Pekka Evolution, this warrior will now overheal herself whenever she scores a kill in the arena. The evolution has a cycle of 1 and it will not improve the basic stats of the card.
Tips For Winning In Pekka Evo Launch Event
Since everyone will definitely have Pekka in their deck, it is important to bring a counter for it. Cards like Inferno Dragon, Skeleton Army, Inferno Tower, Sparky, Guardians, Bats, Minions, and even Three Musketeers are capable of destroying Pekka when they get help from the crown tower.
Aside from targeting Pekka directly, another good strategy is to distract her away from the crown towers or force her to move towards the middle of your side of the arena, where both crown towers can target it.
When pushing ahead, you need to support your Pekka with a troop or a spell capable of dealing with spam units or buildings. Having Zap on deck is an incredible option to neutralize non-spam counters like Inferno Tower, Inferno Dragon, and Sparky.
Last but not least, always make sure you have something to deal with airborne attacks. Balloon or Phoenix are some of the strong aerial units that you must have a card to deny their damage.
Pekka Evo Launch will be available until September 9. A challenge with the same name and more rewards will be available this weekend.
