Best Blackout Decks In Clash Royale

by Cole Phelps

Blackout is a fun new event in Clash Royale where the lights are turned off every now and then, and troops fight against each other without players seeing them.

In this situation, it is quite important to learn the sounds. Every troop makes a unique sound when spawning or attacking, and if the player knows those sounds, then they will have the upper hand in countering those units.

Other than that, the number of health bars that appear will help the player even more with figuring out which troop is coming their way. However, some cards perform better in this situation.

The first deck uses Balloon and Ram Rider as winning conditions, but Bandit can also be applied after any of them to deal damage to the tower, while those rushers are absorbing the damage.

Since Balloon doesn’t make a lot of noise after spawn, it is quite an effective card to play in the Blackout event, as the enemies often would not even notice it, until it’s too late.

Mini Pekka and Knight will deal with tanky units in this deck. Mini Pekka can also be used for quick push ahead, forcing the opponent to spend some Elixir to counter it.

In the second, Balloon is still winning condition, but this time Skeleton Giant will play the distraction role and will absorb all the damage. It can also be used to buy some time against possible giants like Mega Knight.

Wizard in the second deck is a superb unit to eliminate the spam threat, while Goblin Hut can stop rushing units like Hog Rider. Moreover, Elite Barbarians can deal with tanky units.

Moving onto the third deck, it uses Skeleton Barrel as a low-cost winning condition instead of Balloon. However, this time around the players will have good air dominance thanks to Flying Machine, Arrows, and Dart Goblin.

Valkyrie will deal with incoming spam and tanky units along with The Long and Skeleton Army. Also, players can use Skeleton Army to bait the opponent. Send them ahead first and wait for the enemy to use their spam countermeasure, and then deploy Skeleton Barrel.
