Clash Royale: Best Deck In Goblin Power Event

by Cole Phelps

What if every Goblin is infused with a unique spell to enhance his attacks? Well, at least for this very week, it seems like Clash Royale Goblins have cracked open Pandora’s Box and got themselves upgraded with a bunch of special spells, giving them a sheer edge over other cards in Goblin Power event.

Basically, you will want to fill in all your empty slots with a Goblin variant, and it does sound logical as they all come with enhancements. But isn’t it the tactic each player will come to after playing a few rounds of the new event?

That’s why we do think a little bit of customization is required to counter a full Goblin deck, something that you will be facing a lot during this season. Adding Goblin-countering spells seems to be the best way to counter such decks, as every other troop will spawn without enhancements with no significant chance to stand against the invisible Goblins.

Before we get to introduce our deck, here is what power every Goblin card is infused with:

  • Goblins – Remain invisible after spawn
  • Spear Goblins – Spears apply Zap to targets
  • Dart Goblin – Darts apply Poison to targets
  • Goblin Barrel – Goblins spawn invisible after deployment
  • Goblin Cage – Spawns two Goblin Fighters after the cage is destroyed
  • Goblin Giant – Spawms with Rage
  • Goblin Gang – Spawns enhanced Spear Goblins and Goblins
  • Goblin Hut – Spawns enhanced Spear Goblins

Now with this introductory information, let’s move on to our suggested deck for the Goblin Power event.

Goblin Cage4
Arrows3
Goblin Giant6
Goblin Barrel3
Goblin Gang3
Goblin Hut5

As mentioned earlier, Arrows and The Logs both can counter the opponent’s Goblin cards, especially the low-HP ones. They are also significant counters for Goblin Barrel, which could be a force to be reckoned with.

Moreover, you can also use the spells to cover the Goblin Giant when he is pushing forward. It is recommended that you wait for the Goblin Cage to spawn its Goblin Fighters and then deploy your Goblin Giant in front to lead a successful offense toward the rival player’s crown towers.

This attack can be further enhanced by dropping a Goblin Barrel on top of the targeted tower, though you need to make sure the opposing player does not have their countering cards like The Log in hand, otherwise, it could affect your main offensive units as well.
