Clash Royale: Best Deck In Void Unleashed Event

by Cole Phelps

How long has it been since we received a new spell in Clash Royale? Well, that’s been a pretty long time, but now we have Void! The new spell in Clash Royale is the new theme for this week’s Event as well. Void Unleashed is out, and we have already found the best deck for it!

The new Void spell deals damage to the opponents inside its radius in three stages. The damage amount in all three stages is the same, but there is a factor that could change it. Void uses a focus system similar to that of Inferno Towers in Clash of Clans. So, if you have played that game, you know that Inferno Towers have two single-target and multi-target modes in Clash of Clans. The single-target mode deals much more damage, while the multi-target mode cuts that damage to target more than one troop.

That is the premise for Void, though you don’t get to choose whether it should be single-target or multi-target. If there is only one unit inside Void, it will deal the maximum damage by focusing on it, which is enough to kill a Knight after three full-focus attacks.

However, if the enemies inside Void are more than 1 and less than 4, then it will deal 30% of the maximum damage to each target. Now, if the number of enemies inside Void is beyond 4, each target will only absorb 10% of the maximum damage.

So, while Void is quite powerful to target single mid-HP enemies like Wizard, Magic Archer, Knight, or Valkyrie, it is not as effective against Royal Recruits, Musketeers, Minion Horde, or any other unit that deploys in a crew of 2 or more.

This deck is powerful in attack and also in distracting your opponents. I know it might look a bit scary, as the Average Elixir Cost is a bit high, but if you play it right, you will become a force to be reckoned with during this event.

You can start the game by sending Royal Hogs forward to see what your opponent uses to deny it. A Void certainly will not be enough, so they have to reveal something more.

Giant will be your distraction unit, especially against Mega Knight, Prince, Skeleton Giant, or similar cards. These units will focus fire on Giant, while you can spawn something like Inferno Dragon, Skeletons, or even Tesla Tower from behind to deal critical damage to them.

With this deck, you should play a bit defensive-minded in the first minute of the match, but once it proceeds to the double-elixir stage, you can push forward with the combination of Giant and Inferno Dragon, or Pekka and Goblin Drill.

Just keep in mind that you need to focus on distraction opportunities more than direct combat in defensive plans, otherwise, you will lose the troops easily.
