Clash Royale: How To See Player Tag

by Cole Phelps

Player Tag is an important piece of information in Clash Royale that sometimes you need to share with your friends, especially if you are about to receive a gift from them.

The Player Tag is different from your in-game name. It is a random combination of letters and numbers that is unique to each player, which is why it is used to identify players.

Hopefully, Player Tag is not a secret information, and sharing it with others will not put your account in danger. So, don’t hesitate to share it with whomever you want.

How To See Player Tag

Run Clash Royale and wait for the Battle tab to boot. On the top left corner of the screen, tap on your in-game name. In the new window, you can see your Player Tag just beneath your in-game name. If you tap on the Player Tag, it will be copied to the clipboard.

Keep in mind that Player Tag is different from Supercell ID. The former only works in Clash Royale, but the latter is a broader account name that syncs all your data across all Supercell titles, including Clash Royale.

To check your Supercell ID, click on the settings icon on the top right corner of the screen, and then tap on Supercell ID. If you don’t have one, you can create it from here.

I know I’m probably going too far with this, but Player Tag is also different from Creator ID. You cannot use Creator ID to send someone gifts but rather you use it when you want to send a portion of your in-game purchases to the content creator that you support. Only verified content creators could have a Creator ID.
