Clash Royale‘s Dark Elixir event comes with an environmental buff that randomly covers different areas of the battlefield. Players who manage to benefit from these Rage spell drops the most will have the highest chance to succeed.
Of course, in order to get the most out of the rage spells, players have to come up with creative decks, including troops that can indeed use the Rage to their advantage and deal devastating damage in a brief period.

The first deck works perfectly whenever the player unleashes the Royale Hogs toward the opponent’s crown towers when there is a Rage drop next to it. Royal Hogs can be supported by Arrows afterward to last longer and deal more damage.
Tesla Tower, Knight, Goblin Gang, and Guardians are all defensive units to keep your side of the battlefield clear, but Lumberjack is best used for explosive attacks, and once he is dead, Royal Hogs can the remaining Rage spell. Wizard can also be a great support unit in the late round.
In Deck 2, Bowler will play a key role in initiating attacks whenever there is a Rage spell drop on the path toward the crown towers. He can be supported by Arrows if any spam unit threatens his existence.
Pekka should be saved for the Double Elixir phase, but it can also serve as a good defender that can benefit from the Rage spells that drop on your side of the battlefield. The same goes for Knight and Bats.
Deck 3 delivers one of the most safe and simple plays for this event. All you need to do is to spawn Electro Giant when there are Dark Elixir drops around the enemy’s crown tower, and then support it with anything suitable, such as Bomber Evolution, Arrows, or Minions.
Valkyrie will be saved only for defensive scenarios as she can work perfectly in conjunction with Guardians to neutralize most threats unless it’s an aerial attack that will require Minions.
