In order to run the greenhouse facilities and grow products, supplying them with water is crucial. In fact, for most greenhouses, water is the only requirement to yield vegetables or other types of products, which makes them quite cost-efficient.
Water is not an expensive material and it can always be collected for free. The player will only need to pay some cash to purchase the tools and machines required for storing and transferring water.
How To Get Water
Players will first need to buy a Water Tank and a Tractor from the store. Most farmers do have a tractor in the beginning, so just head to the Animal section in the machinery store and look for Barrels. There are different sizes of tanks available, but make sure to buy the one that can be carried by your tractor.
Now, pick up the tank with the tractor and go next to a river or a body of water. Most maps do have a river that passes through the city. Even a small water canal will also be enough.
Now, drive the tractor and the tank slightly inside the water, until the prompt for filling the tank appears. Now, if you press R (on PC) the tank will begin to fill.
All that is required now is to get the hangar next to the greenhouse, which requires water. All greenhouses feature a water icon next to them. Once standing over the icon, dumping the water will fill in the greenhouse’s tank.
It’s worth noting that water pumps next to the Rice farms can also fill the water tank. However, the player must interact with the pump first and set it to Flood. Then park the tank in front of the water flow and fill it.
Those who play as a New Farmer in Farming Simulator 25 will get at least a few greenhouses by default. Regarding the fact that they require no job or task other than water supply, they can turn into good sources of income earlier in the game.
