TLDR:
- The first deck includes Bomber, Royal Ghost, Bats, Clone, Knight, Royal Hogs, Skeleton Army, and Dart Goblin.
- The second deck includes Wall Breakers, Firecracker, Recruits, Elite Barbarians, Mother Witch, Battle Ram, Lumberjack, and Skeleton Barrel.
- The first player to touch the bushes with a unit will own them.
- One of the middle bushes has a chance to turn into a Sparky rather than a Suspicious Bush.
After trying out Suspicious Bush for a few weeks, now Clash Royale delivers a new event that revolves around this recently released card, but with some special rules and changes.
The Goblin Bonanza even removes the beloved river from the map, allowing players to rush from every part of the battlefield directly toward the opponent’s side. However, you will spot six bushes on the map, and the player who touches them first, will turn them into their troops.
While all four bushes on the sides will only turn into Suspicious Bush after being touched, one of the bushes in the middle has a chance to become a Sparky, and that’s the bush you need to target.
Keep in mind that bushes must be touched by either ground or aerial troops. You can’t own bushes by deploying a spell or spawning a structure card. Now, with those rules in mind, let’s have a look at the decks that work best in the Goblin Bonanza event.
Deck 1: Clone The Bushes
Average Elixir Cost: 3.0
Cards | Elixir Cost |
Bomber | 2 |
Royal Ghost | 3 |
Bats | 2 |
Clone | 3 |
Knight | 3 |
Royal Hogs | 5 |
Skeleton Army | 3 |
Dart Goblin | 3 |
Tower Troop | Princess |
As mentioned earlier, your main job is to target the two bushes in the middle, and that means you should deploy a unit towards those bushes as soon as the match begins.
Each one of the Bats, Skeleton Army, or Royal Hogs will successfully complete this task. If you are lucky, you might get the Sparky at the beginning of the round, which will be a massive advantage over the opponent.
In the meantime, don’t sleep on the side bushes though. Royal Ghost is a superb unit to claim the side bushes, while Dart Goblin can do the same for the other side.
Keep Knight and Bomber as your defensive units, in case the opponent gets to the bushes earlier than you. But if you manage to claim the bushes, wait for them to reach the Crown Towers and then Clone them all. You should always clone Suspicious Bushes before they reveal themselves, as this will give the Clones an extra life.
Deck 2: Dominate With Recruits
Average Elixir Cost: 4.1
Cards | Elixir Cost |
Wall Breakers | 2 |
Skeleton Barrel | 3 |
Firecracker | 3 |
Battle Ram | 4 |
Lumberjack | 4 |
Elite Barbarians | 6 |
Recruits | 7 |
Mother Witch | 4 |
Tower Troop | Princess |
This deck costs a bit more, but it has better offensive and defensive units. Here, you can use either Wall Breakers or Skeleton Barrel to claim the two bushes in the middle, while Recruits can cover the entire battlefield and claim the side bushes.
Mother Witch is a solid defensive unit against the opponent’s Suspicious Bushes and any other spam unit, as it can turn them into Hogs for your side.
Firecracker is also another defensive unit to keep the spams away. Also, if Firecracker’s branching shots hit any of the opponent’s Suspicious Bushes, you can reveal them before they reach the Crown Towers.
Elite Barbarians are also best to be kept for defensive scenarios, especially if the opponent uses rushing units or giants to turn the tides of the battlefield.
The rest of your opponents can be used as offensive options, especially Lumberjack who can claim the side bushes pretty quickly thanks to his considerably high movement speed.
