Goblin Cage Evolution Perfectly Defeats Mega Knight Without Taking A Hit

by Cole Phelps

TLDR:

  • A leaked video from Clash Royale shows how Goblin Cage operates with its Evolution active.
  • Goblin Brawler will be able to take a nearby enemy inside the cage and deal continuous damage to it.
  • While inside the cage, the hostile unit will not be able to deal damage to the brawler or the cage.
  • When the cage loses all of its HP, Goblin Brawler comes out as normal.

While we received Suspicious Bush from Supercell as a brand-new card in the game, it seems like the Goblin Cage Evolution is supposed to be delivered with Season 63.

Before Supercell officially shows it off, however, a leaked video from Clash Royale shows how Goblin Cage operates when its Evolution is active, and we can tell you it will be absolutely an overpowered drop among all the Evolutions we have received so far.

When you place the evolved Goblin Cage, the Goblin Brawler inside will take every troop that comes next to it inside the cave and then deal constant and continuous damage to it, without taking a single damage. However, the hitpoints of the cage will reduce over time until it gets destroyed.

When the cage runs out of HP, Goblin Brawler comes out at full HP. Now, if the enemy inside the cage survives the attacks, it will come out too, able to deal damage to Goblin Brawler, but most likely it has lost most of its HP inside the cage.

The size of the troops doesn’t matter for Goblin Brawler. As the leaked video showcases, he can take a Mega Knight inside the cage and almost defeat it. So, you can guess how powerful it will be against those tanky units like Giant or rushing units such as Hog Rider.

Now, we don’t have any clues on the Cycle of this Evolution, but regarding how powerful it is, a cycle of 2 is probably a better fit, similar to other 4-Elixir Evolutions like Valkyrie, Battle Ram, and Goblin Drill.

At this point, it seems like the only cards that can deal with the Goblin Cage are spam units like Skeleton Dragon or Goblin Gang and spells such as Poison, Fireball, or Lightning.

Back in June 2024, Supercell promised the arrival of three new Goblin Evolutions, one Epic Goblin card, and one new Goblin Champion. With the arrival of Goblin Cage Evolution in Season 63, all of those promised cards will be delivered, except for the Goblin Champion.

Little Prince is currently the latest Champion Card added to the game and despite all the nerfs applied to it, the card is still pretty popular among all the available Champions.

With Supercell’s tendency to launch new cards and Evolutions at an overpowered state, it doesn’t be surprising to see the new Goblin Cage and the new Goblin Champion seize the Clash Royale meta in the near future.
