Flex is a new type of cosmetics in Valorant that refers to a special item that players can hold in their hand instead of their weapon to show off.
There is a default Flex in Valorant that every player can equip, which is simply a smartphone showcasing the image of the Agent the player has picked.
How To Equip Flex
Head to the Collection tab in the main menu and then click on the Expression Wheel – formerly known as Spray Wheel. Now, click on one of the wheel slots and then click on the Flex tab at the top of the screen. Equip a Flex in that slot.
In order to perform Flex during a match, you will simply need to hold down “T” or spraying button and then choose a Flex instead of a spray to show off the new cosmetic type.
The Season Pass for Episode 10 Act 1 also includes a new Flex item. Riot Games said they will add more Flex in the future, which probably means the upcoming bundles will also include a Flex item.
According to Riot Games, holding a Flex in hand will not give any special privilege to the player. It will act like holding an ability in hand, both in case of character animation and movement speed.
Keep in mind that Flex will be available when the content for Episode 10 Act 1 is unlocked on January 9, 2025.
