Manor Lords Gets More Love Before Launch As It Hits 3 Million Wishlists

by Cole Phelps

The excitement for the release of Manor Lords is excessively growing as the game reached yet another milestone on Steam to fortify its top spot as the most wish-listed title with over 3 million wishlists now.

You read it right! Less than a week before its worldwide Early Access release on PC, Manor Lords netted even more wishlists on Steam, sitting at over 3 million. And that’s about a game with a single developer!

It is yet to be seen how Manor Lords will manage to keep this massive community happy after its Early Access release, but the developer recently shared a message on Steam to maintain the expectations, by reiterating that Manor Lords is a city-builder at its core, with all the other features like wars coming next.

As an organic city-builder, Manor Lords delivers a grid-less building system that allows the player to build their village wherever they want. You can cut down trees to place your hometown at the heart of a forest, or you can build it in plain farming lands.

While Manor Lords is supposed to be a relaxing experience, you will also need to manage your resources, keep an eye out for how your people feel inside the village, and protect them against threats and invasions. Only good management could help you grow your small village into a crowded city.

Hopefully, some content creators have received a hands-on preview opportunity, and it sounds like they are happy about what the game delivers in the Early Access version, which makes us even more excited about the upcoming release.

It’s worth noting that Manor Lords is a single-player-only game. The developer has made it clear that they will add new content to the game based on the feedback from the community during the Early Access period.

Unfortunately, Manor Lords will not be available on PS5 when launches on April 26, but we already have a list of similar city-builder games that you may need to check out if you are too hyped for playing a game in this genre.
