Manor Lords Publisher Offers Full Bundle Of Strategy Games With “Very Positive” Reviews For $170

by Cole Phelps

So many games have been discounted on Steam Summer Sale this year, which is both tempting and confusing at the same time as you don’t know which deal is the best. However, if you are only interested in a few genres, Hooded Horse has a superb suggestion.

The publisher behind Manor Lords has an excellent backtrack in releasing strategy games. Now, Hooded Horse has bundled 10 games it has published in recent years, 8 of which have “Very Positive” review scores on Steam, one has an “Overwhelmingly Positive” review score and one other comes with a “Mixed” review badge.

Fortunately, the bundle also includes Manor Lords, the most wishlisted Steam game earlier in 2024 and one of the highly successful strategy games of this year so far. Here is the full list of games in the bundle:

  • Manor Lords
  • Against The Storm
  • Clanfolk
  • Empires of the Undergrowth
  • Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic
  • Old World
  • Terra Invicta
  • Xenonauts 2
  • Nebulous: Fleet Command
  • Sons of Valhalla

Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic is another gem in this bundle that just released its 1.0 version recently. Similar to Manor Lords, this game is also about building a city, but set in the Soviet Union era with modern tools and design.

The only game with a “Mixed” review badge in this bundle is Sons of Valhalla, which combines the strategy gameplay elements with a 2D action experience. While it does sound pretty innovative on paper, the player feedback could tell you that it was not executed perfectly, though there are indeed players who enjoyed it.

Old World and Terra Invicta are both grand strategy games. The former is one of the best grand strategy titles to be released since Crusader Kings 3. Old World uses a system similar to that of the Civilization series, but it also has its own innovations to offer a pretty unique and enjoyable experience.

Terra Invicta, on the other hand, takes you to a fight against aliens on Earth. The game is still in Early Access though, which means you must consider some performance issues and shortcomings here and there.

This entire bundle costs $170. Normally, you should have spent $230 to buy all these games, but the bundle offers $60 of savings, which is a considerable amount if all you care about is to have enough strategy games to remain entertained until the next big Steam sale.
