First teased back in CitizenCon 2954, Mirai Guardian is the bigger brother to the Fury series and the first ever Heavy Fighter from the manufacturer in Star Citizen.
This Heavy Fighter comes in two variants: The base model is solely combat-focused with better handling and slightly more agile movement and maneuvering stats, while the QI variant is an interdiction specialist.
Mirai Guardian
Mirai Guardian is an agile and long-range heavy fighter. Thanks to a Size-2 Quantum Drive, it has a longer travel range compared to RSI Scorpius.
When it comes to maneuvering abilities and combat speed, Mirai Guardian beats the likes of Crusader Ares or Anvil F8C Lightning. It goes toe to toe with the Vanguard Harbinger, but RSI Scorpius still remains the most agile heavy fighter.

Mirai Guardian QI
The QI variant comes with a pilot-controlled quantum dampener. When activated, it prevents any other ship in a range of 4.5km from initiating a Quantum Jump, hence preventing targets from escaping.
This is a massive advantage compared to RSI Scorpius Antares, which requires a co-pilot to control the interdiction system. Guardian QI, however, sacrifices some agility for the addition of the QD system.
