Misc Starlancer: Price, Variants, Release Date, And Specs

Star Citizen introduced the Starlancer series from MISC at CitizenCon 2024, which is a whole new ship series coming in three variants: BLD, TAC, and MAX.

Starlancer MAX

As the name implies, MAX is the cargo-focused version of Starlancer and it comes with a bigger cargo space that is divided into two different sections. The smaller cargo section is accessed by a ramp and can hold ground vehicles. However, the bigger cargo space is accessed by two vertical elevators on the sides.

Starlancer MAX comes with a bigger habitation area but does not have a medical bed or a hangar. The ship will be flyable by November 22, 2024, when IAE 2954 launches. It is now available for pre-order, and here are the prices:

  • 10-year Insurance
• Warbond Offer: $225 (Comes with special paints)
  • Life-time insurance

Starlancer MAX owners will receive Freelancer MAX as a loaner until the ship launches.

Starlancer BLD

BLD is a construction-focused ship that comes with four Large construction drones. Using these drones players can build smaller buildings as well as building large-sized structures, though they won’t be able to build Extra-Large bases.

Starlancer BLD is still in production and not available for pre-order yet, which is why there is no price tag for it at the moment.

Starlancer TAC

TAC is the military variant of the Starlancer series that comes with better weapons, more turrets, more shield generators, and a hangar specialized for the Mirai Fury series. The ship will have a medical station with two Tier-3 medbeds as well as a habitation area and a series of drop seats to deploy on-foot reinforcements.

Starlancer TAC is now available for pre-order and it is aimed to be released in 2025. Here is the price:

• Normal Offer: $330
  • 10-year Insurance
• Warbond Offer: $295 (Comes with an extra paint)
  • Life-time insurance

Starlancer TAC owners will receive Freelancer MIS as a loaner until TAC launches.
