How To Get Mercury Prestige Camo
First and foremost, Mercury is per-weapon camo. This means you need to complete the requirements of obtaining the camo for every single weapon if you want to have it equipped on all Modern Warfare 3 guns.
Secondly, to achieve Mercury on a certain weapon you must max out the weapon first, or simply, use it so much in Multiplayer that the weapon hits the highest level. Your weapon’s level is showcased on the top left corner of the screen when you are in the Gunsmith menu.
Finally, you must achieve both One Trick and Molten Obsidian on your favorite weapon before you can achieve Mercury. One Trick requires 150K XP and Molten Obsidian needs 200K XP. After acquiring those two, you will need to grind for 250K XP to obtain Mercury.
Best Way To Farm Weapon XP
We suggest you play game modes that allow you to respawn instantly after dying like Team Deathmatch. Currently, there are multiple modes that feature Team Deathmatch like Havoc, Moshpit, Invasion, and Mutation. This way, you can play more and wait less, which increases the opportunity to use your favorite weapon non-stop and have higher chances of getting kills.
Moreover, you are highly suggested to activate Weapon XP Boosters before entering a match. This will help you significantly to earn more XP and spend less time grinding for the camos.
It is also important to choose a weapon for camo progress that you are really good at using. Mostly Assault Rifles and SMGs can be handled easily, but it takes much effort to make the same progress with a sniper or marksman rifle.
