As 2024 comes to an end, anime fans are looking forward to beginning the new year with new anime adaptations. Thankfully, Crunchyroll recently announced more new anime series that will be premiered in Winter 2025.
The anime adaptations listed here will kick off streaming on Crunchyroll sometime between January 2025 and March 2025.
Grisaia: Phantom Trigger
Another anime for those who love school-themed settings. Grisaia: Phantom Trigger follows the story of a group of students in Mihama Academy, a revitalized school that is tasked with raising new operatives for the SORD.
Grisaia: Phantom Trigger already has a playable game released on Steam, which is highly recommended for those who can’t wait to watch the anime adaptation in Winter 2025.
Magic Maker: How To Make Magic In Another World
The story of Magic Maker begins with the unexpected death of a magician during an experiment. When the magician wakes up, he finds himself in another world named Theon, where no magic exists.
With the arrival of a deadly plague in Theon, the magician tries to regain his abilities and give birth to magic in the new world, so that he can cure the disease using magic.
Unnamed Memory Act 2
Unnamed Memory is a story about a deadly curse that prevents a crown prince from having a child. The curse doesn’t directly target Oscar, but it is destined to kill the bearer of his future child.
To lift the curse, Oscar meets a master witch, but she admits that the curse cannot be lifted. Instead, Oscar is suggested to marry someone that the curse is unable to kill.
Even Given the Worthless “Appraiser” Class, I’m Actually the Strongest
The main story of this anime is as weird as its name. The lead protagonist is Ein, who is an appraiser and does not seem satisfied with his job. But the bigger issue is that he can’t change his job.
Based on the anime’s world, every hero that is born, including Ein, is given a job at birth that cannot be altered later. However, being an appraiser doesn’t seem to have anything to do with heroic stuff. Thankfully though, things change for Ein as he meets someone.
Farmagia
Adapted from a video game of the same name, Farmagia features a rich world. The anime is set in an underworld in Felicidad, where farmers known as Farmagia grow monsters for different purposes.
The protagonist is also a Farmagia and operates under the continent’s honest ruler. The rulers of other continents, however, try to unite and create an oppressive, evil army after the death of the king.
Solo Leveling Season 2
The new season of Solo Leveling will cover the Red Gate arc and picks up the story where it left off back in season one. After achieving the Shadow Monarch title in the finale of the last season, Jinwoo will now face bigger challenges.
Season 2 of Solo Leveling will see Jinwoo exploring new dungeons as a Monarch. The new season will have 13 episodes in total and will be out in January 2025.
