Noire Detective Adventure Nobody Wants To Die Shares Amazing Gameplay

by Cole Phelps

TLDR:

  • Nobody Wants To Die has been in development for 4 years at a Polish studio.
  • The game is set in a cyberpunk world with 20th-century aesthetics.
  • The gameplay is more about solving puzzles and discovering clues than fighting.
  • Nobody Wants To Die will be available on July 17 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Critical Hit Games, the Polish developer behind Nobody Wants To Die recently shared a deep dive gameplay footage from the upcoming noire adventure only a week before its global launch.

If you are into immersive, narrative-driven experiences, there is no reason to keep Nobody Wants To Die away from your wishlist. Not only the game does offer realistic next-gen visuals, but also the developers have tried to limit the usage of in-the-face UI elements as much as possible to let players lose themselves in the story.

Following the assignment of a new case to James Karra, a police detective in 2329 in New York, players get to discover dark secrets hidden behind the beauty of the city. Players work with Sara Kai, James’ assistant, to investigate eerie crime scenes, desperately looking for clues that could lead them to an evil killer in New York.

With the gameplay mostly focused on solving puzzles and finding clues, players will need to pay attention to the slightest details in Nobody Wants To Die. Hopefully, there are some cutting-edge tech that will help you with reviewing the clues and discovering the untold secrets.

If you had a good time with Batman: Arkham Knight’s detective parts, you will probably have a blast playing Nobody Wants To Die, especially when using technological advancements to recreate a crime scene.

Nobody Wants To Die is coming out on July 17, 2024. You can play it on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC. It is a fully single-player experience, and hopefully, it does not feature any DRM locks on the PC version. So, if the developers optimize the game well enough, you can enjoy the utmost immersion in the visuals with the right system.

Unfortunately, the official system requirements for Nobody Wants To Die are yet to be announced, and so is the price tag, as you cannot pre-order it. We will update this post with the system requirements as soon as the Steam page has anything to share.
