As the first capital ship in Star Citizen, RSI Polaris features a big enough hangar that can hold not only heavy fighters but also some of the small industrial ships like Vulture and Prospector.
The good news about Polaris is that the interior of the hangar is indeed bigger than its door. So, even if some ships don’t fit when landing on a flat state, players can make them fit in by going in with the nose first.

All Ground Vehicles That Fit Inside Cargo Bay
Most ground vehicles can fit inside the cargo bay in an RSI Polaris, but the Tumbril Nova is the only exception, as its height is slightly higher than the entrance door.
