RSI Polaris finally made it to the live servers in Star Citizen, but there is one single room inside that massive ship that is still locked to the owners. Captain’s Quarters room is still under development and it didn’t release with 3.24.3.
According to CIG developer Wakapedia, Captain’s Quarter will be delivered in a future build but there is currently no confirmed release date for that.
Captain’s Quarter still remains a secret for the community as CIG has never teased the interior space of this suspicious room, but it was expected that players could finally explore the room with the ship’s release on live servers. Even if you try to peek through the door by abusing the camera angle, nothing is visible other than the ship’s hull.
As the name implies, the Captain’s Quarter will probably be a high-end habitation room dedicated to the captain with a slick design (just our imagination), but it remains unknown that access to it would be limited to only the ship’s owner, or any other crewmate can get in.
Polaris will be available for free to all players during the RSI day in IAE 2954, and it will also go on sale on the same day in the pledge store, but this time, there will be no limited quantity for the ship.
As the first capital ship to be released in the PU, Polaris also delivers the biggest mobile hangar to the ‘verse, home to a wide variety of light, medium, and even heavy fighters. The ship doesn’t come with any pilot weapons, though, which makes it nothing more than a big carrier without at least a few other crewmates to operate the guns or the missile system.
