While the announcement panel for Operation Twin Shells revealed the new Jager Elite skin set, it also promised two upcoming elite sets throughout Year 9 Season 3 to Rainbow Six Siege players.
As always, Ubisoft’s security measures were too shallow for dataminers, resulting in a widespread leak of the upcoming content to the game in Operation Twin Shells and even the next season!
So, those two Elite skins belong to Maestro and Osa. The Italian defender has never had an Elite set so far but now gets his first soon after Alibi received the same treatment earlier this year.
Maestro’s Elite seems pretty impressive, as it makes the operator look like a mad Italian mobster. The MVP animation is also quite impressive, as Maestro rides one of those old bikes, which is also an icon of Italy.
Unlike Maestro, the Elite set for Osa is not that impressive. Honestly, I would never believe this Osa set is an Elite skin if it wasn’t leaked by dataminers. The skin set for both the operator and their weapons looks pretty mediocre. There is no specific reason to make it look unique, though it will probably have its own fans when it launches.
Currently, there is no information on when we can expect Ubisoft to release these new Elite skins. Obviously, you shouldn’t expect both of them to be launched at the release of the new season.
Ubisoft will likely distribute the launch of these Elites throughout Operation Twin Shells. So, it’s safe to say that we are at least weeks away from their release.
Year 9 Season 3 content is currently available in the Test Servers. The release date for Operation Twin Shells on live servers is yet to be revealed, but you can expect at least one week of testing prior to the live release if nothing special happens.
