Rainbow Six Siege Membership-Exclusive Items Can Only Be Sold At Marketplace Under One Condition

by Cole Phelps

With the release of Rainbow Six Siege Y9S2 today, one burning question of the community has been answered: You can indeed sell the R6 Membership-exclusive items on the Marketplace, but only 12 months after their release.

So, while you can get your hands on the exclusive items of the new membership system, it will take you a year to show off with the new exclusive gear. The same goes for those who own it, as they can’t earn in-game currency by selling those items on the Marketplace.

While this sounds like a fair system to value those who pay for R6 Membership to show off the exclusive cosmetics, it becomes clear that they are not as exclusive as esports drops and attendance charms.

However, one question that remains unanswered is if the Membership-exclusive items can appear in Alpha Packs. This has not been mentioned anywhere yet, and it could be a big factor in the actual Marketplace price of the items. However, we have already seen some exclusive items like Kixstar charms have been sold for a pretty low price at Marketplace during its beta phase.

Considered as a spiritual successor to Year Pass, R6 Membership offers both yearly and monthly plans. You can either pay $9.99 per month to receive the current season’s exclusive rewards or spend $79.99 to guarantee access to four seasons of cosmetic items. Below, you can check out the benefits of each plan:

Monthly R6 Membership:

  • Premium Battle Pass access (current season)
  • 1 of a 3-piece exclusive Legendary set (bonus Operator card upon completing the current season’s legendary set)
  • 1 exclusive Epic bundle
  • 10 Battle Pass Levels
  • 1 Bravo pack
  • 10% in-game store discount (included in Battle Pass)
  • 30% faster Battle Pass progression (included in Battle Pass)

Yearly R6 Membership:

  • Premium Battle Pass access (4 seasons)
  • 4 exclusive Legendary sets
  • 12 exclusive Epic bundles
  • 12 Bravo packs
  • 120 Battle Pass Tokens
  • 10% in-game store discount (included in Battle Pass)
  • 30% faster Battle Pass progression (included in Battle Pass)

It’s worth noting that both standard and Premium versions of Battle Pass can still be purchased separately outside of R6 Membership, but if you buy them separately, you will not receive any compensations for subscribing to R6 Membership later.

Moreover, the R6 Membership items are included in the cross-progression system, which means you will have access to them on other platforms as long as you log in to the same Ubisoft Connect account.
