Star Citizen 3.23 To Add Syulen, Spirit Series, SRV, And More Ships To In-Game Shops

by Cole Phelps

The latest update for Star Citizen Alpha 3.23 EPTU adds over a dozen ships and vehicles to the in-game stores, making almost all the flight-ready ships available for purchase except for a few of the fighters.

Hopefully, you can now buy both Crusader C1 Spirit and A1 Spirit in-game, along with the two recent alien-manufactured ships, Gatac Syulen and Santok Yai. But that’s not all of them. Check out the full list of new additions here:

  • Mirai Fury MX
  • Mirai Fury LX
  • RSI Lynx Rover
  • Misc Hull C
  • Crusader Spirit A1
  • Crusader Spirit C1
  • Cutter Scout
  • Cutter Rambler
  • Gatac Syulen
  • ARGO SRV
  • Tumbril Storm
  • Tumbril Storm AA
  • SAN’TOK.YĀI
  • Origin X1
  • Origin X1 Force
  • Origin X1 Velocity

This is already a massive list that pushes most of the new, beloved ships out of the paywall, allowing all players to gain access to them through in-game currency and enjoy flying with the new ships.

This, of course, leaves the Anvil F7C Mk2 series behind, which was announced a few weeks earlier, and will not be available in the in-game stores for at least one full patch cycle. Following the same policy, Mirai’s new Pulse grav-lev series will also be coming to Alpha 3.23.

Among all the ships above, ARGO SRV is a pretty important ship to be added to the in-game stores as it enables a new job in the verse, knowing that it’s currently the only ship capable of towing other ships in Star Citizen.

Gatac Syulen is the first alien-built starter ship in Star Citizen, which currently has its own game package on sale on the pledge store, but will now be purchasable in-game when Alpha 3.23 launches on live servers.

Aside from new ship additions, the latest patch also brings some important balancing changes to the standalone salvage tool, making it more capable when it comes to repairing ships.

  • Doubled the range than the Multitool
  • Increased Gathering and Repair speed
  • Allow to repair a little higher than normal multitool
  • Less efficient (higher loss of material when gathering)
  • Allow toggle to fire

Moreover, the new patch fixes some more Distribution Center bugs, improves the UI experience of interior maps, adds Cambio SRT containers to Vulture and Reclaimer, applies a minimal upgrade to Med Guns, and tweaks performance over some technical parts, including Vulkan API, server optimization, and physics.
