Star Citizen: Every Ship Teased At CitizenCon 2954 To Release In 2025

by Cole Phelps

The final day of CitizenCon 2024 delivered the fan-favorite ship talk panel, where developers introduced the Argo CSV and the Misc Starlancer series, and gave us an updated look at The Pioneer.

However, at the end of the panel, a clip of ships planned to release in 2025 for Star Citizen was also teased. And here we will be guessing what those ships could be with the help of the community!

Argo CSV-FM

The Construction Ground Vehicle

Not a ship, of course, but the construction ground vehicle from Argo was fully introduced at CitizenCon 2024 and is promised to be available in 2025.

The work on Argo CSV-FM almost seems finished, but there is no reason to launch it now, as base-building gameplay has not been implemented yet. So, CIG will probably hold this ground vehicle back on purpose to release it when the base-building gameplay is available and the demand for construction-focused ships and vehicles is higher.

Greycat CAV

Military-Focused Ground Vehicle

Greycat CAV tease image

There has been no official word on a new Greycat vehicle, but it was already leaked before CitizenCon 2024. CAV is a military-focused vehicle from Greycat that will likely feature a missile launcher.

If you pay attention to the armed soldier standing in front of the vehicle, it will probably tell you that it is a military car. Based on the leaks, CAV should have at least two seats, but other than that we have no clue about its details.

An Anvil Military Vehicle

Giant Ground Vehicle Featuring A Turret

Anvil already has three military vehicles in-game: one with missile launchers, one with turrets, and one for transferring ground troops. However, it seems like there is one more variant on the way.

It is hard to guess what the purpose of the new military vehicle could be, but a medical-focused variant with a single turret on top to defend itself could possibly fit in the roster for Anvil.

F7C Hornet Tracker/Ghost Mk 2

New Stealth Ships Coming To The ‘Verse

The base variant of F7C Hornet Mk 2 is already in the game, and that should open up the way for the other variants as well to join the crew.

Based on the teaser, it seems like CIG will prioritize Hornet Tracker Mk 2 and Hornet Ghost Mk 2 over the other variants. The Tracker can be easily spotted by looking at the round tracking device on top.

The other variant looks more like Ghost based on its slicker design at the top of the canopy.

Anvil Terrapin Medical Variant

The Turtle Returns With Medbed

The base variant of Anvil Terrapin is one of the beloved ships in Star Citizen, but the fact that its dedicated gameplay has not been implemented makes it somehow pointless.

A medical variant of Terrapin was teased twice during the CitizenCon 2024. The first tease showcased a bit of the ship’s interior, which is supposed to feature at least one medical bed. The paint also seems to be a bit lighter with dark red trims.

Mirai Guardian

The Heavy Fighter From Mirai

Enough images have already been leaked from Mirai Guardian to make it distinguishable for fans even in a challenging teaser. Guardian inherits its design language from the Fury series, which is why the community loves to call it Fat Fury.

If the leaks from Mirai Guardian turn out to be true, the ship will release with two Size-5 pilot weapons. No information missiles have been shared though. It is also assumed that Guardian might feature a habitation bed in the back.

Misc Fortune

The Mid-Size Salvage Ship

Misc Fortune tease image

It was believed that Misc Fortune would be fully revealed during CitizenCon 2024, but Starlancer was all of Misc’s share from this year’s event.

In the final teaser, however, there was a ship quite identical to Misc Prospector, but with a bigger size. This is believed to be the unannounced salvage ship from Misc, which is Fortune.

It is supposed to have a box printer in the back, but the size of the ship is a point of debate in the community. Some believe it will be a Drake Vulture competitor, while others think it will fill in the large gap between Vulture and Reclaimer.

Crusader Intrepid

Starter Ship From Crusader

Despite being teased in the final clip, this ship will actually be released before 2025. Crusader Intrepid is a starter-level ship from the manufacturer of C1 Spirit and C2 Hercules.

The ship is basically a smaller version of the C1 Spirit that comes with a small habitation room as well as a tiny cargo bay in the back. The ship does have a second entry from the side that gives quicker access to the pilot seat.

Unknown Drake Ship

Those Asymmetric Wings Remind Us Of Corsair

Unannounced Drake Ship tease image

This ship is the biggest question mark from the teaser. There is no leak or official information about it, so we can just guess based on our knowledge of manufacturer design languages.

The size and overall shape of the shield look a bit familiar to Drake Herald, but aside from that, having asymmetric wings is a design language that only belongs to Drake at the moment. So, all fingers are pointed at Drake for now, though there is no information on the purpose of the ship.

RSI Apollo

Mobile Hospital Coming To The ‘Verse

RSI Apollo tease image

At last, RSI’s long-awaited medical ship will make it to Star Citizen in 2025, hopefully. This image definitely belongs to RSI Apollo, and the best way to figure it out is to check for those nose and top antennas on the ship, which belong to Apollo.

Unlike any medical ship or vehicle that has been delivered so far, Apollo offers the best medical beds just like a mobile hospital. The ship will come with up to six medical beds if the developers remain loyal to the concept design.

Starlancer TAC

The Military-Focused Variant Of Starlancer

Starlancer TAC tease image

The full announcement of all Starlancer variants was enough to figure this one out. The pre-order page for Starlancer TAC already mentions that the ship targets a release in 2025. So, this should be the TAC variant.

However, both TAC and BLD are quite similar, and it is difficult to distinguish them with this dark image. But even if it’s BLD, doesn’t make much difference, as we know that TAC will be delivered in 2025 too.

RSI Perseus

The Legendary Gunship

RSI Perseus tease image

It doesn’t need much thinking to figure out what this ship could be. The legendary Perseus is quite distinguishable with that aggressive nose and the giant cannon in front.

Perseus is a giant Gunship and a direct competitor to Aegis Hammerhead. Having this ship on the fleet with the full crew will make any hostile pilot forfeit the battle. Not much is known about the specifications of Perseus, but it is one of the hotly anticipated large-sized ships in Star Citizen.

Drake Ironclad

Heavy Cargo Hauler

Drake Ironclad tease image

Drake Ironclad was announced earlier this year in Invictus Launch Week. The ship comes in two variants, but both will feature a giant cargo space.

The base version of Ironclad is strictly focused on hauling, coming with 1,536 SCU of cargo space in a flatbed cargo bay with two integrated tractor beams on the roof.

The other variant, Ironclad Assault, delivers more turrets and defensive options but limits the cargo space to 1,152 SCU, which is still a lot for hauling cargo while also boarding some military vehicles or even small fighters.

C.O. Pioneer

Biggest Construction Ship In The ‘Verse

CO Pioneer tease image

We already saw a lengthy presentation of Pioneer during CitizenCon 2024, so it wouldn’t be difficult to spot it easily in the tease. Pioneer will not be ready when base-building gameplay becomes available.

However, it is still aimed to be launched until the next CitizenCon, which means base-building will probably be available earlier than 2025’s Fall.

Pioneer is the ultimate construction ship that enables its owner to build anything of any size. It is also worth noting that Pioneer is the only ship that can build Player-Owned Space Stations, which is a 1.0 feature.
