Stellar Blade: Release Date And Time On PS5

by Cole Phelps

With this gigantic marketing campaign running by Sony, it is indeed difficult to ignore Stellar Blade, the upcoming action-adventure PlayStation 5 exclusive from the South Korean developers.

Featuring a female protagonist, Stellar Blade rose to fame for its eye-catching visuals and unique character design that has been the game’s most-talked feature in recent months.

What Time Can You Start Playing Stellar Blade?

Hopefully, this anticipation is almost over as Stellar Blade will be released on April 26 at local midnight time. This means you can start playing it as soon as your clock ticks 12 AM in your local region.

Hopefully, such a release time enables gamers to play Stellar Blade early by switching their PlayStation region to Australia or New Zealand, though this is not recommended as you may get punished by Sony for doing so.

Standard Edition Vs Digital Deluxe Edition

Stellar Blade is priced at $69.99, but you can also get a higher-tier edition for $79.99. The Deluxe Edition comes with a full new cosmetic set for the protagonist, Eve, as well as her companions, Lily and Adam. Additionally, you get 5,000 in-game currency and 2,000 XP when starting the game.

If you pre-order any edition of the game, you will receive the Planet Diving suit for Eve as well as a pair of earrings and the classic round glasses.

Unfortunately, the Deluxe Edition will not allow you to play the game early, as all players will get to experience Stellar Blade simultaneously. The game features many more cosmetics and suits for Eve that you can earn by exploring the world and completing challenges.

Shift Up Corporation, the team behind Stellar Blade made it clear recently that each suit will have a different effect on some attributes of Eve, and sometimes, playing more exposing cosmetics might make the game feel more difficult than normal. This is the sacrifice you have to make if you want to have a close and clear look at how the jiggle physics works in the game.

Will Stellar Blade Be Released On PC Or Xbox?

Stellar Blade was originally announced as Project Eve for PC and Xbox besides PlayStation, but then Sony signed a contract with the developer to make it exclusive to PlayStation 5. It is yet to be known how long this deal will remain in place.
