The latest expansion in The Sims 4 is all about finding your missing half, and it does offer some new gameplay mechanics and features to ease the process for every player, though it’s still not easy to build up a relationship without knowing your partner’s interests.

The Lovestruck DLC will expand the way romancing works in The Sims 4 at the moment, adding more new interactions between couples, from the very first date to meeting each others’ parents. So, you are in for a long journey!

Lovestruck Expansion Release Date, Time, And Price

The Lovestruck DLC will be unlocked on July 24 at 10 PM PT or July 25 at 1 AM ET / 6 AM BST / 3 PM AEST / 5 PM NZST. The expansion is already available for pre-purchase for $39.99 across all platforms.

Before the DLC goes live, The Sims 4 received an update on July 23 to prepare the game for the upcoming expansion. Unfortunately, you can’t pre-load the data before the expansion’s global release.

Lovestruck Expansion Content And Bonuses

The Lovestruck DLC will add the city of Ciudad Enamorada with three neighborhoods, all of which have been designed with the main theme of the expansion in mind.

If you purchase the expansion by September 5, you will receive the Cry Me A River eyeliner, Herbert Heart Plushie, and Basic Breakup Double Bed as bonus items for free.

Lovestruck will also add a new dating app called Cupid’s Corner, where you can find other Sims with their interests and set up a date, choosing where you want to go and what you want to do. As you get to know more about your partner, the relationship will start to build up, though it’s not always going to be a positive one!

The satisfaction level of partners will be different based on how they react to various interactions. So, while you may really fall in love with a Sim, the relationship might not end up the way you want if there is a huge gap between the interests of you and your partner. So, it’s going to take a lot of effort to find your missing half eventually.
