Salvaging is one of the highly profitable professions in Star Citizen that comes with a low risk. All it needs is a salvage ship and some spare time to scrape the hull from abandoned vessels.
Like all other professions in Star Citizen, however, there are a bunch of tips for salvaging that could make it faster and more profitable, and it all begins with changing the salvage modules on the ship.
Currently, there are three salvage modules in the game: Cinch, Abrade, and Trawlers. Speaking of the current build, Abrade modules seem to be the most efficient ones all around, and we have already run a detailed test on all of these modules.
However, no matter which one you want to buy, here are the locations that sell salvage modules.
Tip: If you don’t find the module on the listed components at a terminal, type its name on the search bar.

The pricing for salvage modules is fairly cheap. The most expensive module is Trawler which comes at a cost of 1.6K aUEC.
Also, if you own a Vulture and plan to switch to a double-Abrade configuration, make sure to buy only one Abrade module, as Vulture already have a single Abrade on the right salvage arm.
